Grown Ups
This hilarious family frenzy stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schenider, and Selma Hayek. In 1978, when these five friends were twelve years old, they won the CYO Basketball Championship. Now thirty years later, they all gather with their families to attend thier coach's funeral and stay the weekend at the lake house where they use to have parties. That weekend, is the Fourth of July celebration. During this weekend, the families take a step back from reality and try to live life in the great outdoors and relive childhood memories. They realize that their friends have had their own problems over the last thirty years. Lenny (Sandler) is a California attorney and is married to a fasion model, Eric (James) is out of work and stuggling, Kurt (Rock) is a household husband pushed around by his wife and mother-in-law, Marcus (Spade) is alone and drinks too much, and Rob (Schenider) who has three daughters that he rarley sees is always deep in love. The families use the weekend to fix their problems in reality. In the end, the families have a great time at the lake house and find the true meaning of family and friends. This movie is a good one for the whole family to sit down and watch.
Cop Out
In this action packed adventure featuring Bruce Willis, Tracy Morgan and Sean William Scott, Jimmy Monroe (Bruce Willis) and Paul Hodges (Tracy Morgan) are N.Y.P.D detectives trying to catch a drug dealer in action. Both Jimmy and Paul are dealing with their own problems. Jimmy has to find enough money to pay for his only daughter's wedding and Paul seems to believe that his wife is cheating on him with the next door neighbor. Jimmy makes the one decision he will regret forever, selling his rare baseball card. Paul on the other hand is still trying to find out if his wife is cheating on him. On the day Jimmy is selling his card, the sporting good store gets robbed and the robbers take Jimmy's baseball card. Now Jimmy is in a jam, he doesn't have the money to afford his only daughter's wedding and his rare card is missing. Throughout the movie Jimmy and Paul are trying everything they can to get the card back from a memorabilia-obsessed gangster. In the end, Jimmy gets his card back, but it is slightly damaged, but his daughter's wedding goes on. Paul finds out that his wife really isn't cheating and persuades her to forgive him. If you want a movie that will keep you laughing the entire time, I suggest watching Cop Out.

I Love You Man
This movie stars Paul Rudd, Jason Segal, and Rashida Jones. In this funny comedy, Peter (Paul Rudd), a successful real estate business man proposes to his girlfriend Zooey (Rashida Jones). They plan to have their wedding a month later. The only problem with this is Peter doesn't really have close male friends that he can invite to be in his wedding. Peter soon realizes that he really needs to find some friends. He sets up a couple "man dates" to get to know them better, but its just not turning out to well for him. One day at one of his open houses, he meets Sydney Fife (Jason Segal). They exchange business cards and Peter calls Sydney to have a couple drinks. Their friendship develops and Peter finally asks Sydney to be his best man in the wedding. In the end, the wedding is a success, Peter and Zooey get married, and Peter makes a few new friends in the process. Overall, this comedy is a great movie to watch if you love to laugh.

The Hangover
My newly added blog topic will be all about movies under the category of comedy. To start off for my first blog, I'm going to talk about The Hangover, starring Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms. This movie is about 3 friends who decide to throw the best friend’s bachelor party in Las Vegas. After a wild and crazy night, the 3 friends wake up with the worst hangover ever. Come to find out, their best friend Doug (Justin Bartha) goes missing. All morning they try to remember what happened the night before. Throughout the rest of the movie, they try to find clues and go back to places where they thought they might have been before. During this time they encounter characters such as Mike Tyson, Ken Joeng, Heather Graham, Mike Epps and Rob Riggle. In the end, they find their best friend and they have to make a mad dash back home to get to the wedding on time. After watching this movie, I recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh.
